Terms and data processing
Version 2026-10-21. These terms are between Smart 5 Consulting Limited ("SMART5", "we") and the business that signs up ("you"). By asking for a QuadCalls number you accept them.
1. The service
QuadCalls gives you a UK 020 phone number answered by an AI assistant, which takes messages, answers questions using the information you provide, and can transfer calls to the numbers you verify. AI can make mistakes. You are responsible for the information you give it and for checking call notes before acting on them. It is not a substitute for an emergency service.
2. Free trial and payment
The first 3 months are free. After that, Starter is £24 and Pro is £49 a month plus VAT, including 30 and 100 calls. Extra calls are 50p each plus VAT. We will tell you before the trial ends and before any price change. There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time and your number stops at the end of that month.
3. Fair use
You must not use QuadCalls for unlawful, abusive or misleading calls, or to transfer calls to premium or international numbers. We may pause a number that is being misused, and we may limit unusually high usage after talking to you.
4. Your number
The 020 number is provided by us through Amazon Web Services. It stays with QuadCalls if you leave. We cannot always transfer it to another provider.
5. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee it will never be interrupted. We are not liable for lost business or profits. Our total liability in any year is limited to the fees you paid in that year. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Data processing agreement
For personal data about your callers, you are the controller and we are your processor under UK GDPR Article 28. We:
- process caller data only to provide QuadCalls, following your instructions set in your dashboard;
- make sure our staff are bound by confidentiality, and keep the data secure (encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, logging);
- use these sub-processors: Amazon Web Services (UK and EU regions, including Amazon Bedrock for the AI model) and Google (sign-in). We will tell you before adding another;
- keep call notes for 90 days, then delete them, and delete your data within 30 days of you closing your account (except billing records);
- help you answer requests from callers about their data, and tell you without undue delay about any personal data breach;
- give you the information you need to show compliance, and allow reasonable audits.
You must tell callers how you use their data, for example in your privacy notice, and only ask your assistant to collect what you need.
7. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: info@smart5.co.uk.
